Acting Head, Health Service & Qualify Assurance

Adedamola Oladimeji is a graduate of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) in Ife and holds a degree in Social Sector Management from Pan African University (now known as Pan Atlantic University). He has over 17 years of experience as a clinical pharmacist, further enhanced by his leadership role as the Acting Head of Health Services and Quality Assurance (HS&QA) at Lifeworth HMO.

Adedamola's professional journey began in 2008 after he completed his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Taraba, where he worked at the Primary Health Care Center in Kabwir, Kanke L.G.C. He then joined Cadila Pharmaceutical Limited in Nigeria as a Medical Representative and Clinical Specialist, focusing on product marketing and research. He briefly worked at Jon Ken Hospital before taking on the role of Clinical Pharmacist and Superintendent Pharmacist at Osuntuyi Medical Centre. In that position, he managed medication therapy for patients with chronic illnesses, which contributed to a significant 15% reduction in hospital readmissions. He implemented a new electronic medical records system to enhance patient data management and led educational sessions on medication adherence, reaching over 1,000 patients each month. Additionally, he mentored a team of pharmacy technicians and healthcare staff, resulting in a 20% increase in patient and enrollee satisfaction scores.

In 2023, he joined Lifeworth Medicare Ltd as the Team Lead for Claims and Providers. Due to his exceptional performance and professionalism, he was promoted to the Acting Head of Health Services and Quality Assurance (HS&QA). Moreover, Adedamola is a member of the International Alliance of Patients Organizations (IAPO), affiliated with the British Charities Trust NGO, where he serves as a Patient Expert, demonstrating his commitment to advocating for patient causes
